Hugh Jackman:My life will become unbearable
Don't give Ryan Reynolds an Oscar, my life will become unbearable.
Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to request that his co-star Ryan Reynolds be removed from the list of Oscar candidates.
Reynolds is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Song for "Good Afternoon," which she performs with Will Ferrell on the Christmas blockbuster "Spirited."
However, according to CNN, Jackman is vehemently opposed to Reynolds being nominated for an Oscar, claiming that it would make his life terrible.
"In 2023 is and I really wanted to send a positive message to start the year, but recent events have made that impossible," Jackman joked in a video he posted on Instagram.

Although he enjoyed "Spirited," he stressed that if Reynolds won, he would gloat and become insufferable.
"I just heard that the Academy has shortlisted 'Good Afternoon' for Best Song. If Ryan Reynolds was nominated for Best Song, my life would become unbearable for the next year. Really. "I mean, I spent a year with him filming 'Wolverine and Deadpool,'" Jackman said.
He also noted that he liked "Spirited", Will Ferrell, Octavia Spencer, who star in that production, and even the song "Good Afternoon". "But please, please, please, please do not honor Ryan Reynolds in this manner. "Please," he asked.
Jimmy Kimmel hosts the Oscars for the third time
Jimmy Kimmel (54), an American host and comedian, will host the upcoming 95th Academy Awards, which are awarded annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
"We are extremely excited that Jimmy has achieved a 'hat-trick' on this global stage. We know he's going to be fun and up for anything," executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirchner said.
"Being invited to host the Oscars for the third time is either a great honor or a trap." "Anyway, I'm grateful to the academy for asking me so quickly after all the good guys said no," Kimmel said.
Following the 90th Academy Oscars, which were hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and got mainly excellent reviews, the awards were conducted without a host until the 94th ceremony, which was presented by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes.
"Jimmy is the perfect host to help us recognize the incredible artists and films of our 95th Academy Awards." His love of film, expertise in live television, and ability to connect with our global audience will create an unforgettable experience for millions of our viewers around the world," said Academy CEO Bill Cramer and Academy President Janet Young.
The 95th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live in over 200 countries across the world.
