American rock band Mudhoney returns with a new album!
The album 'Plastic Eternity' will be released on the 35th anniversary of Mudhoney.
On April 7, 2023, the inimitable, one and only Mudhoney (vocalist Mark Arm, guitarist Steve Turner, bassist Guy Maddison and drummer Dan Peters), will release their latest album “Plastic Eternity” on Sub Pop. It's the 35th anniversary of Mudhoney and Sub Pop that day, and a stunning new album from the label's flagship band is the perfect way to mark the occasion.
“Shot in just nine days at Crackle & Pop! studio in Seattle with long-time producer Johnny Sangster, "Plastic Eternity" is an intoxicating run through all the proto-genres of guitar rock with a sharp eye on the nonsense of the world in the 2020s", Sub Pop stated.
Mudhoney also released the first official video from "Plastic Eternity", the song "Almost Everything". Frontman Mark Arm says the song “was originally known as 'Gopal'. It sat in the recorder in our practice space for years and we avoided deleting it because we always liked its playful groove.”.
Directed by Arthur Baston, the visual for "Almost Everything" is an interdimensional and surreal journey of a character who never stops transforming.

Recall, Mudhoney is an American grunge band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988 after the breakup of the band Green River. Their first album, Superfaz Bigmaf EP, was very influential on the Seattle music scene and helped break through the so-called. dirty, highly distorted sound, which was later characterized as grunge.
This band inspired many grunge and alternative rock musicians, the most famous among them was Kurt Cobain from the band Nirvana.
