Is Cardi B the new queen of avant-garde couture looks?
The rapper, who sang about Balenciaga and Dior, interrupted her maternity leave because of Mugler
Just a few weeks after giving birth to her second child, Cardi B is already in corsets and on the red carpet. But that's show business, right?
The occasion was the opening of Mugler's retrospective exhibition in Paris, where Cardi B appeared in as many as two vintage Thierry Mugler creations - from 1995 and 1997, and she expressed her commitment to fashion vision by coloring her eyebrows in the shade of her dress.

The fashion collaboration between Cardi B and Mugler has been going on for several years now, thanks to her stylist Kollin Carter, who first approached Mugler with a desire to use some archival outfits for the music video for the song ‘Money’. Mugler refused on that occasion but changed their mind over time, so when Cardi B was nominated for 5 Grammys in 2019, she wore as many as three different dresses at the award ceremony.

She continued the week in a show tone, in even more avant-garde creations by the fashion house Schiaparelli. A ‘liquid’ gold helmet, a tweed jacket with gold on her breasts, and jewelry with eye elements was an unusual occurrence in the French fashion capital as well, but we are glad to see the self-proclaimed ‘Mugler Mami’ in the element while wearing the ‘Marie Antoinette Type of Fashion’ and we are anxiously waiting for what's coming.
