5 things you need to know about the Jacquemus Dream Show: We take you to the forefront!
The hot summer on the mountain is the main mood of the latest Jacquemus fashion show called La Montagne. It was a dream covered with colors, imbued with unconventional cuts and feminine silhouettes.
1. Show was held on an imaginary hill
The runway looked like cartoon scenery. After almost a year of absence from the runway, the return of the show in Paris was a very uncertain event. It is also a reminder of the lockdown effect, but also of the exhibitionist culture of the social networks in which we live. The influencers sitting on a green hill, made in the giant film studio Cité du Cinéma, looked like the show itself: full of enthusiasm, in brightly colored clothes, ready for action.

"For this collection, after the past year, I wanted to put people in an enclosed space and share this important fashion moment together," wrote Simon Porte at every seating area. Live shows were an invaluable part of his short career (who doesn’t remember those lavender fields?) that helped him get to the stars. As a young designer with a large budget for fashion shows, he knew exactly which button to press to entice people from social networks to participate. "I wanted the set to be minimal and stylish, creating an abstract artistic mountain that depicts the inspiration of the collection," he said on his Instagram for his green hill and blue sky.

3. The collection for autumn/winter 2021 will be worn during the summer of 2021.
Porte's collection was for autumn/winter 2021 - he skipped a season. He also posted it on his website a few seconds after the show ended, and immediately made it available for purchase. Jacquemus knows that today's youth is digital, especially after they acquired habits from the time of the pandemic (shopping online, from the comfort of home), and even though it is called the autumn collection, he has in mind that young generations will wear it this summer to make up for previous a year (and enjoy the hot summer colors!).
4. Body positivity is in the foreground
Jacquemus continues to promote body positivity, and models who wear clothes are of the most diverse builds and body shapes. Therefore, he showed that everyone can look sexy if they wear the right cut - light, silky materials fall from the shoulders, slits play with the imagination, and jack dresses show attitude and courage.

Kendall, Bella, Adut, Leon, Jonas, created a real fashion show that will be talked about for a long time and revive the atmosphere of the runway, which will still remain unsurpassed compared to digital shows.
