It's been 22 years since the romantic comedy 'Never Been Kissed' starring Drew Barrymore premiered, and for the purposes of his own talk show, the 46-year-old Hollywood star has revived the character of Josie Geller.
In the romantic comedy ‘Never Been Kissed’ Barrymore embodies the character of Josie Geller, a journalist who re-enrolls in high school to do a report on today’s teens. During this secret assignment, she recalls the embarrassing scenes she experienced while attending high school, including the fatal prom where she was supposed to wear a pink satin dress.
It is in her and with the inevitable braces on her teeth that Drew Barrymore has revived her film character Josie Geller on the streets of New York these days for the needs of her own talk show, and many agree that today she looks exactly the same as 22 years ago.
The official synopsis of the movie:
Josie Geller (played by Drew Barrymore ) works as a proofreader at a newspaper, with the goal of becoming a journalist. Her love and sentimental life have been a total failure marked by deception and humiliation, to the point that she has never received her first kiss. Suddenly she is presented with her first job as a reporter that will transfer her to an institute where she must infiltrate as a student, thus reliving her tough adolescence and making great friendships that will lead her to face different experiences related to popularity. She will also meet her literature teacher, who will teach her and help her integrate with other people, on the hard path of finding herself.
