American actor Jason Momoa will double his fee for the role of a superhero in the sequel to the movie "Aquaman", compared to the first part, American media reported. Momoa should now earn $15 million from this movie.

After long negotiations, he managed to get the requested fee for the continuation of this science fiction saga, which will appear in cinemas in March 2023, under the name "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom". The film is the sequel to "Aquaman" from 2018 and also the thirteenth film produced by "DC Entertainment", which is popularly called "DC Expanded Universe", which is a series of superhero films. The director of the film is the famous James Wan.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is an upcoming superhero film collected from the DC universe. It is the sequel to Aquaman, which was released in 2018. The film was written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, and directed by James Wan. Aquaman is a fictional superhero who is demi-human and reluctant to be king of Atlantis. Instead, he is part of the Justice League. He has incredible powers such as superhuman strength, endurance, manipulating tides, swimming at supersonic speeds, and communicating with sea life.

The ending of the first Aquaman film opened the door for a sequel. In the sequel, fans can see Jason Momoa and Amber Heard as Aquaman and Mera. We can expect Black Manta to return in the sequel to Aquaman. Abdul Mateen 2, the man who played the role of Black Manta, confirmed the rumors of a return. We can expect to see a few old faces from the first film and some new faces as well, as in April 2021, a report claimed that Pilou Asbaek would be joining the cast in an as-yet-undisclosed role.

DC Universe believes that Aquaman can be one of the best movies in the DC Universe because it will have great continuity and storytelling. Furthermore, they expressed their faith in James Wan, the director of the Aquaman franchise.
