Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez's boyfriend, reportedly spent up to $10 million on her engagement diamond, which we can understand given how uncommon it is. On April 8, the 52-year-old Marry Me actress shared an emotional video in her On the JLo email in which she was wearing an oversized Cult Gaia sweater and a green crop top with a matched rock on her left hand, announcing her engagement to actor Ben. A vivid green square-shaped stone sat in the center, surrounded on either side by white trapezoid diamonds — and the coloured diamond was allegedly one of the rarest stones in the world.

The stone's value has been estimated to be between $3 and $10 million, but regardless of what Ben paid, it's evident that the stone is quite precious!While Us Weekly speculated that it may be valued up to $10 million, Jenny Luker, president of Platinum Guild International USA, claimed the estimated price is more than $5 million (£3.8 million). "Given the scarcity of real green diamonds, I'd say this ring is worth at least $5 million," Jenny added."Given its exclusivity, it might cost up to $3 million/£2.3 million," Kyron Keogh, co-founder of ROX Diamond and Thrills, said of the "extremely rare" stone.
This is Ben and JLo's second time getting engaged. Ben originally proposed in 2002 with a stunning six-carat radiant-cut pink diamond.The couple broke up in 2003 before their wedding, but revived their romance in 2021, 19 years after they first started dating.Jenny From The Block's contract has also been renewed four times in the past. Ojani Noa, a restaurant manager, proposed to her with a six-figure pear-shaped engagement ring. Cris Judd, a choreographer, proposed with an emerald-cut ring, and the couple married between 2001 and 2002. Marc Anthony, the father of her twins Max and Emme, gave her an 8.5-carat blue diamond ring worth $4 million, according to reports. They married in 2004, and their divorce was finalized in 2014.
Finally, JLo and Alex Rodriguez were engaged in the Bahamas with a stunning emerald-cut diamond believed to be worth between £1 million and £5 million by Harper's Bazaar. In April of the following year, they parted ways.
