Actor Jesse Eisenberg revealed why he almost completely disappeared from the scene. American actor best known for his roles in "The Social Network", "Zombieland" and "Batman vs. Superman", Jesse Eisenberg (39), has almost completely disappeared from the scene in recent years. Eisenberg was known as one of the most talented young actors and, in addition to the listed films, he starred in numerous successful blockbusters, such as "Justice League" and "Master of Illusion", and then he suddenly drastically reduced projects. And what is the real reason?
Eisenberg, who played Mark Zuckerberg in "The Social Network" and the notorious Lex Luthor in "Superman", worked on just four projects in the past three years. His last film was the Hulu series "Fleishman Is in Trouble", and before that he starred in some indie films.
"I'm focused on the experience"
In an interview, Jesse revealed what has been happening with him in recent years and he also said that for him is not important how he will look on film, but what is important to him is the experience he gains while acting.
He was asked why he started accepting roles in relatively anonymous films, and his answer was that he accepts roles that excite him.
"I've worked with people who have acted in a lot of movies that weren't always the most fun. I don't watch the movies I'm acting in, I just focus on the experience I'm going to get and the character I'm going to play and live with that feeling," he said.
"I'm not worried about the final product, I'm more worried about whether what I'm doing will be exciting," concluded Eisenberg, who is preparing three new projects. These are the films "Manodrome", "A Real Pain" and "The Medusa". "Manodrome" should be released in 2023. We can not wait!
