Joaquin Phoenix hints at "Joker" sequel
Ever since the movie "Joker" premiered in cinemas in 2019, stories have been circulating that it could get a sequel. Now, lead actor Joaquin Phoenix has additionally fueled the rumors.
The sequel of the iconic "Joker" was first hinted at by the director himself, Todd Phillips, and now the lead actor, Joaquin Phoenix, has done the same. He said in a recent interview with Playlist:
"There are some things we could do with this character, we are researching further. But are we actually going to do that? I don't know, " Phoenix said, which delighted film fans around the world and lifted their hopes that the actor may be preparing again for the old role.
However, there are many indications that the script for the film is already being worked on, although nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

"Joker" arrived in cinemas in 2019 and earned more than a billion dollars globally, which is why it went down in history as a film for people over 18 with the highest earnings in cinemas.
Phoenix won an Oscar for this role in the category for Best Actor, so there is no doubt that "Joker 2" would be a hit, the media report.
