Kanye West wants to change his name again!
The mentioned nickname was also the title of his album in 2018.
Kanye West has submitted a request to change his name, TMZ writes. He decided to shorten his official name Kanye Omari West to the longtime nickname Ye.
In the request for the name change, Kanye states that he decided to do so for personal reasons, but he did not provide any details, foreign media report.
They add that the rapper’s request will certainly be granted because judges in California approve the name change given that they have no evidence that Kanye will use the new name to commit fraud.
Kanye West’s attempt to change the name comes just before the release of his long-announced album Donda, which he named after his mother, with whom he was very close.
By the way, this is the rapper’s second attempt to change the name after in 2019 he considered changing the name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West.
