She said that a part of her lungs needs to be removed after finding out that she has lung cancer.
Famous American comedian Kathy Griffin announced on Instagram that she has lung cancer and that she is about to have an operation in which a part of her lung will be removed.
"People, I have to tell you something. I have cancer. I'm going to have surgery soon to have half of my left lung removed," the announcement began.
"Yes, I have lung cancer even though I have never smoked. Doctors are very optimistic because the cancer is in the first stage and has remained on the left lung. We hope that I will not need chemotherapy or radiation after this and that I will be able to breathe normally. I should be on the move for a month as usual, ”Kathy writes.
"These have been crazy four years, I've been trying to get back to work, making you laugh and having fun, but I'll be fine. Of course, I'm vaccinated against covid. If I hadn't, the consequences would have been even more serious. Please go for regular check-ups. it will save your life.” she concluded.
