Because of this dress from the red carpet, Bella Hadid still feels ashamed: 'It wasn't me'
In an interview with the American edition of Vogue magazine, Bella said that this dress is one of those that she would never wear again.
Every year in May, the eyes of the fashion world are focused on Cannes and the scenes from its glamorous red carpet. To celebrate, the stars are putting a lot of effort into creating glamorous and special fashion releases, and the fashion history of the Cannes Film Festival has undoubtedly included the ‘it’ edition of Bella Hadid seen in 2016.
It is a red silk dress with a dramatic slit at the neckline, and also legs, that was taken care of by the French designer Alexandre Vauthier. When a famous American girl was seen in it, it became a hot topic of conversation.
In an interview with the American edition of Vogue magazine, Bella said that this dress is one of those that she would never wear again.
'I didn't feel comfortable in it at all and I looked very sexual. The cameras and so much makeup created a huge amount of stress for me, as did the slits on the dress itself. It bothers me to even look at the photos in that dress. I have nothing against the dress itself, but it’s not me. After wearing such a seductive edition, my alter ego was born in my head, which I named Belinda, and I am the complete opposite of it, 'Hadid admitted.
