Katie Piper has written a new book ‘Beautiful’ which will surely be a hit because of the difficult story she has behind her.
'Beautiful' is the inspiring autobiography of photo model Katie Piper, who, despite the scars obtained after the acid attack, managed to keep her positive spirit, and also achieved a career as a writer and motivational speaker. She is today also a mother and wife. 'I heard a horrible scream, like some animal being slaughtered. What created that noise? And then I realized it was me.' Katie started.
When Katie Piper was 24, her life was almost perfect. Young and beautiful, she was on her way to fulfilling her dream of becoming a model. She then met Daniel Lynch on Facebook and her world soon turned into a nightmare. After her new boyfriend held her captive and ruthlessly raped her, Katie was exposed to a terrible acid attack.
In a matter of seconds, this happy and lively girl could feel her appearance and the life she loved literally melt away. This is a touching and true story of how a young woman was cruelly deprived of her mind, body, and spirit and how she has inspired millions of people with her struggle to regain what she lost.

After a severe attack, Katie underwent more than four hundred surgeries on her face, neck, and chest. After the attack, Katie withdrew from the public eye but she decided to return to raise awareness about the burn victims. The documentary about her accident 'My Beautiful Face' (2009) was watched by more than three and a half million people and it has been shown in more than fifteen countries. Katie founded the 'Katie Piper Foundation' to help people living with burns and scars, and she received numerous awards and recognitions for her charity work, including the prestigious 'Woman of the Year' award. She is currently the host of a show on BBC1 and is a frequent guest on ITV and Channel 4.
She is the author of several bestsellers, and she is also active on social networks. Now she presented a new book, 'Beautiful', which will surely become a big hit.
