Make your bathroom perfect with these colors

You want your bathroom to be everything you've ever dreamed of when it comes to interior design, To be clean, comfortable, fragrant and of course - filled with the most wonderful colors that perfectly match your lifestyle. As simple as this list of priorities sounds, the perfect bathroom design often turns into a real fiasco, especially when it comes to the last item.

When thinking about what color to paint the walls of your bathroom, there are many factors that you should take into consideration. However, the fact is that most people do not opt for experiments so easily, so in this sense, it is always good to have some options that will never leave us stranded.

By choosing shades that harmonize or balance each other, you will be able to create an excellent combination of all the necessary elements in the bathroom, and at the same time give this space an attractive look and freshness. In this sense, the following three colors are extremely helpful and can help your bathroom achieve a unique, well-balanced look in the blink of an eye.

BLUE ON BLUE

Shades of blue are particularly popular colors for bathrooms due to their soothing charm that is directly associated with rest and pleasure. Plus, blue offers so many shades that look so good when paired together, you won't need any other color than white and a few wooden accessories. You can always choose between, for example, blue with more green in it or blue with more purple. These first variants are ideal if you want to achieve a slightly softer and more natural appearance of the space, while the purple options are excellent for "calming" the atmosphere. If you choose a lighter shade for the walls with darker tones of the secondary or accent color, you will get a wonderful way to connect all the elements into one cohesive whole. Accompanying furniture in cream or light wood tones will help the bathroom appear more airy and meticulous. Just watch out for too much pastel blue which, although beautiful on paper, can end up looking cold and a bit sterile. If necessary, balance the too cool blue with warmer shades of blue and brown.

50 SHADES OF GRAY

Although it may sound boring, gray has a lot to offer to the interior design of any room. While it can easily work as a neutral base to accent colors like purple and yellow, gray can also work in a variety of shades on its own. The key is finding the right gray with the right kind of undertones that work together and with your space. As you may know, similar to white, gray comes in different shades that depend on what kind of undertone they have. Red or brown undertones create warmer shades, while blue and green undertones lead to cooler grays. For a sophisticated look and contemporary bathroom design, you can combine layers of gray in the same way as blue, with different shades from light to dark. Stick to the same kind of undertones for each so they complement each other and don't clash. As with blue, use a lighter gray for the walls, highlighting just a little something dark and dramatic.

GREEN AS A RELIABLE ALLY

Different shades of green have the ability to give peace and energy to a room, making green a great color to furnish even the smallest bathroom. Regardless of whether you choose a soothing sage color or a rich olive, be sure that your bathroom will get that zen look that will delight you. Let green be your main color freely by painting the walls in a shade that matches the size of the space and the lighting. In general, darker tones can make a space feel smaller, especially if there isn't a lot of natural light. At the same time, dark can be ultra-dramatic and can be just what you always wanted. If this is the case, feel free to pair darker shades with other elements that can be cream, gray, yellow or white.
