'Morbius' trailer released: Jared Leto as antihero we adore
A new trailer for the long-awaited Marvel movie has been released, in which Jared Leto plays Michael Morbius, a "living vampire" who originally appeared as a villain in Spider-Man, but became something like an antihero that interested all fans.
The new movie from Marvel Universe starring Jared Leto was supposed to be released last year but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The official synopsis reads: "One of Marvel's most convincing and conflicting characters comes to the big screen as Oscar winner Jared Leto turns into a mysterious antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others who suffer his fate, Dr. Morbius tries to take risks. What at first glance seems like a radical success soon proves to be a drug that is potentially worse than the disease."

Speaking earlier about his character, Leto told that Morbius is a problematic figure, but deep down he is good. "Inside Morbius, there is a person who has a moral code. There is a good person. After all, it is this common struggle between good and evil. And, I guess, we’ll see what prevails in the end," the actor says, adding,“ That’s what I really like about this film. We are not following such a clear path. There is no clear line between what is right and what is wrong. There is a gray area," he concluded.

Barring any further changes to the schedule, "Morbius" will finally bow on January 28, 2022 – two years after the release of the first trailer.
