Museum dedicated to Avicii is opened

Four years after the suicide of a young Swedish DJ, Avicii, a museum dedicated to him was opened in Stockholm on Saturday under the name "Avicii Experience". This museum is located in the basement of a modern building in the center of the capital.

The tragically deceased young man who killed himself at the age of 28, Tim Berling, which was his real name, was considered one of the best DJs in the world. He left behind several world hits, including "Wake Me Up" with singer Aloe Blacc from 2013. He was special, and his talent was obvious.

Visitors to the museum will be able to view a room modeled on his teenage bedroom with a number of personal items, such as a self-portrait drawn in color pencils, as well as a room modeled on his Los Angeles studio with guitars belonging to him. The museum also has a room where visitors will be able to virtually attend his concert.

"He's with me forever. The least I could do was pay tribute to him," 26-year-old Avicii fan Amanda Ekstedt told.

The purpose of a special room full of mirrors and screens broadcasting concerts, crowds, air travel, and a fast-paced lifestyle is to evoke the intensity of the artist's life and the pressure to which he was exposed. His death contributed to raising the painful topic of depression among young people.

A psychologist will also be present at the museum for the first few weeks to provide support to emotions-ridden fans. One of the museum's managers, Lisa Halling-Aadland, explained that she and colleagues felt the presence of a psychologist was necessary, given that the story of Tim Avicii has a very sad and dark part.

Recall, Tim Bergling was born on 8 September 1989 and sadly terminate his life on 20 April 2018. He was professionally known as Avicii. Avicii was a Swedish DJ, remixer, record producer, musician and also a songwriter. He had three siblings: David Bergling, Linda Sterner, and actor Anton Körberg. At the age of eight, he started mixing music in his bedroom.Bergling retired from touring in 2016 because he suffered from stress and poor mental health for several years.
