Netflix's first Christmas movie is out!

It seems like people can't wait for the new holiday movies. The first Christmas movie of the year arrived on Netflix a few days ago. We are talking about the comedy "Best Christmas Ever", and according to the data of the analytical company, this is currently one of the most-watched films on Netflix.

The film stars are already well-known faces from comedies - Heather Graham and Jason Biggs, and among the actors are Brandy, Matt Cedeño, Madison Skye Validum, Chase Ramsey, and others.

The plot of the film:

Life put Charlotte Sanders (Heather Graham) and her family in an exciting situation. With their arrival at the house of her old college friend Jackie (Brandy), just a few days before Christmas, she has the opportunity to prove that her old friend's life is not as wonderful as it seems. And she makes it on the holiday newsletter she sends out every year.

Charlotte is stuck in a job she doesn't like, and her family's finances are in a bind. Meanwhile, Jackie recently sold her airline company for millions of dollars and she is enjoying early retirement with her husband and incredibly smart children. The Sanders family travels to Charlotte's sister's house to spend the holidays, but they are surprised when they unexpectedly arrive at Jackie's home.

Charlotte has only one mission - to prove that Jackie's life is not perfect!

Critics are not enthusiastic about the film

The comedy was directed by Mary Lambert and written by Todd Gallicano and Charles Shyer. However, viewer ratings are not the best so far. The film has 33 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, and 4.5 on IMDb. Film critics are not thrilled either.

"Best Christmas Ever! isn't the greatest Christmas movie ever, but it will satisfy those hungry for sentimental new holiday movies," writes Screen Rant. "Feeling more like a television holiday special than a feature film, the plot follows the predictable Christmas themes of love, acceptance, and gratitude for what you have," added a review published in one magazine.
