Ingredients for biscuits with cherries:
- 250 grams of peeled cherries
- 1 yogurt (200 ml)
- 2 large eggs
- half a cup of sugar
- half a cup of oil
- 2 cups crispy flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- a little oil and flour for the mold
Preparation of biscuits with cherries:
- Coat the baking tin with oil and sprinkle with sharp flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift into a bowl. In another bowl, add the eggs and sugar and mix for about five minutes, until the mixture becomes thick and gets a light yellow color. Now add the oil little by little and mix gently at the lowest speed. Then add the yogurt to the bowl and manually connect it to the rest of the mixture with a spatula or whisk. Then add the sifted flour into the mixture, and finally add the peeled cherries and combine everything.
- Pour the mixture into a mold and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for between 30 and 40 minutes, depending on the strength of your oven. The cake is ready when it takes on a dark golden yellow color and when it separates from the edges. Take it out of the oven and let it cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
