Prince Harry's daughter Lilibet Diana has finally been added to the inheritance list
The daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had to wait seven weeks to be officially included in the list for the inheritance of the British crown, and it seems that this might not have happened without the attention of the media.
Prince Harry's (36) wife Meghan Markle, 39, gave birth to daughter Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana in early June. Given the rules regarding the inheritance of the British Crown, it was assumed that, like her older brother Archie (2), she would be in the line of inheritance for the British Crown.
Despite these predictions, little Lili has so far not been included in the list of heirs on the official website of the British royal family. A few days ago, English host Chris Ship spoke about it while he was a guest on the Royal Rota podcast, the Mirror reports.
- I have to wonder why they need so long. They just have to start a new paragraph and change the number, they must have done it earlier. They did it for Archie, ”Ship said.
Archie was listed just 15 days after birth, and Lilibet had to wait seven weeks.
Two days after these statements, which diverted the attention of the media to the official page of the royal family Royal.UK, Lilibeth is included on the list.
She is in 8th place on the list, behind her older brother, father, grandfather Prince Charles (72) and uncle Prince William (39), and his children. In case William gets more children or if his children become parents, Harry, Archie, and Lili will “fall” to lower numbers.
The last changes in the law on inheritance introduced in 2013, came into force in 2015, and apply to all children born after October 28, 2011. With this change, the championship of male heirs was abolished, and now the royal children are arranged according to their dates of birth.
Despite Lilibet's father, Prince Harry, insisting that his return to London was difficult and that he had to face years of trauma there, it seems that he will return.
