Princess Charlene's ultimatum: Me or Caroline!
Princess Charlene was angry with Princess Caroline for stepping into the position of first lady and fulfilling all the obligations that do not belong to her.
The long-awaited return of Princess Charlene to Monaco recently took place after several months spent in psychiatric treatment.
But as soon as she returned, she decided to leave Monaco and take her children, twins Jacques and Gabriella, with her.
The princess was reportedly angry that, in her absence, her sister-in-law, Albert's sister, Princess Caroline, 65, had stepped into the twins' lives, pretending to be a surrogate mother and taking them on trips and interfering with their education.
‘Charlene was distraught when she saw Caroline take over the influence in raising the twins,’ a source told Woman’s Day. 'Recently, Caroline called the principal of their old school to discuss their socialization ... the twins are currently studying at home at Charlene's request.'
An insider from the palace claims that Caroline is focused on the future of Monaco, so she is determined to shape the twins, especially Jacques, the obvious heir, according to her idea of what the little prince should be and there is a tense atmosphere under pressure. Source near to family reveals that Albert now finds himself between' two fires' - his wife and sister.
"He has to make a decision that will surely upset someone," said the source.
But the source reveals that Albert (64) still loves Charlene and that her main trump card is twins. 'If Albert sees that they are suffering because of the situation, he could agree to Charlein's request,' says the royal insider.
Recall, during Charlene's absence, Princess Caroline (65) gladly jumped into the position of the first lady and fulfilled all the obligations that otherwise belong to her sister-in-law. Some comment that Caroline could hardly wait for it because she was in the shadow of her brother and his wife. In fact, she was very upset that Charlene ‘took away her function’.
She has always loved to be the center of attention, the first lady of the Monegasque royal family, and this role fell to her after the tragic death of her mother, Hollywood diva Grace Kelly on September 14, 1982. When he passed away on April 6, 2005, she was assisting her brother Albert who ascended the throne.
