Razer unveils Viper V2 Pro gaming mouse

Razer has released a wireless gaming mouse that is both lightweight and precise. The Viper V2 Pro is a fast gaming mouse that weighs 58 grams, making it lighter than the Viper Mini (61 grams) and the Viper Ultimate (74 grams). The precision of the movement is due to the new Focus Pro optical sensitivity sensor, which has a sensitivity of up to 20,000 DPI.

The sensor offers a 99.8 percent resolution accuracy, a tracking speed of 750 inches per second (IPS), and a maximum acceleration of 70 G. The new sensor also includes Smart Tracking, Motion Sync, and Asymmetric Cut-off with up to 26 levels of height adjustment to give consumers with a greater performance at all times.

The mouse also comes with new Razer Optical Gen-3 switches, which should prevent inadvertent double-clicks and retard delays. The new Optical Gen-3 switches can withstand up to 90 million clicks, which is 20 million higher than the Viper Ultimate's rating of 70 million clicks. The mouse has a DPI control button at the very bottom for rapid sensitivity changes, and charging is done via a USB-C connector.

The Viper V2 Pro has an 80-hour battery life, which is 10 hours longer than the Viper Ultimate. In addition to the Viper V2 Pro mouse, the box includes pre-cut holding straps in the style of the Viper V2 Pro, a Razer Speedflex charging cable, and a 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed USB dongle extender.
