Actress Roseanne Barr used to be a big star, but her career took a steep path due to one inappropriate comment.

The star of the series "Roseanne", which broke rating records, in 2018 posted on her Twitter a racist remark about Valerie Jarrett who worked as an advisor to Barack Obama.

Roseanne compared Valerie to a monkey, more precisely, she wrote that she looked as if the "Muslim brotherhood and planet of apes had a baby". She later apologized for her comment, but her career came to an end.

At the same time, the series that made her famous experienced its big television comeback, but after Roseanne's remark, it was quickly canceled and the actress withdrew from the public. In recent years, she has been living in Hawaii with her partner Johnny Argent, where they own a macadamia farm.

But now she has found herself in the spotlight again as she has put up for sale her luxury villa in California. According to the Daily Mail, the actress is selling it for $ 3.5 million, although in 2004 she bought her for $ 1.7 million.

Roseanne is 68 years old today and many would not recognize her.

The comedy series "Roseanne" had its premiere in October 1988, and from the first episode, it follows the lives of Roseanne Connor, her husband Dan, daughters Becky and Darlene, son DJ, and her sister Jackie.

The series was praised by critics and viewers for depicting the realistic side of the life of a working-class family from the suburbs of the fictional city of Lanford, Illinois, and aired for as many as nine seasons, until May 1997.
