Joe and Anthony, best known for directing four major Marvel films, expressed their opinion at the press conference for the release of "The Gray Man" about the great debate that is being held in the American public known as "streaming vs. theaters", during which they mostly highlighted negative aspects of publishing achievements online.
The Russo brothers pointed out that "the film industry is in crisis", and as reasons for personally supporting streaming, they said that the most important thing is the financial availability of art to users, adding that "today, going to the cinema or the theater is an elitist idea, and the question arises who can provide himself with regular departures at the prices that are dictated".
The directors stated that the film "The Gray Man" will also be released on the streaming service, in addition to selected cinemas, as originally announced.
“In our opinion, streaming makes the most sense, because for the price of one cinema experience you get unlimited access to an entertainment program” - they concluded.
