Sci-fi series "The Man Who Fell To Earth"

Showtime released a poster and final trailer for their sci-fi series "The Man Who Fell To Earth" earlier in this year. The whole story began as a novel by Walter Tevis from 1963,  and then we got a cult film adaptation from 1976 (The Man Who Fell to Earth), but now we have a series with Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, The Old Guard ) in the main role. The creators, showrunners and executive producers of the series are Alex Kurtzman, Jenny Lumet (Clarice) and John Hlavin. The script is written by Kurtzman, Lumet and Jane Maggs, while the directors are Joss Agnew (Poldark, The Irregulars) and Alex Kurtzman (People Like Us, Star Trek: Discovery).

Inspired by the novel of the same name by Walter Tevis, as well as the iconic film by David Bowie, "The Man Who Fell to Earth" series will follow a new alien character - Faraday, who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and he must face his own past in order to determine our future. He arrived on Earth in search of scientist Justin Falls, played by Naomie Harris (Moonlight, No Time to Die). She possesses an extraordinary ability but she is afraid to turn on that part of herself that can make the world a better place.

In addition to the aforementioned Chiwetel Ejiofor and Naomie Harris, the main roles are played by Jimmi Simpson (Westworld) as Spencer Clay, Clarke Peters (Da 5 Bloods) as Josiah Falls, Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2) as Hatch Flood, Joana Ribeiro (The Dark Tower) as Lisa Dominguez, Annelle Olaleye (Domina) as Molly Falls and Sonya Cassidy (Humans) as Edie Flood. In addition to them, in the series, we will also see Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek Voyager, Orange Is the New Black) as CIA operative Drew Finch and Bill Nighy as the elder Thomas Jerome Newton or the first alien to visit Earth.

"The Man Who Fell To Earth" arrived on Showtime in April of this year. It has a total of ten episodes so you can find them and watch them. It is interesting that each episode is named after one of David Bowie's songs.
