The most anticipated movies of 2023 - part three!
This time we are talking about the most anticipated movie genre titles.
These are just some of the most anticipated movies that are coming at the end of next year:
"The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" November 17, 2023
Director: Francis Lawrence
Starring: Rachel Zegler, Hunter Schafer, Tom Blyth, Jason Schwartzman
Franchise veteran Francis Lawrence has returned to direct the prequel to the famed "Hunger Games" based on the Suzanne Collins novel series. The story primarily follows a young Coriolan Snow (originally portrayed by Donald Sutherland) and his involvement in The Hunger Games as a game-changing mentor years before the events of the original film series.
As yet untitled sequel to "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" (codenamed Firehouse), December 20, 2023
Director: Jason Reitman
There aren't many details about the sequel at this point, other than that director Jason Reitman is returning to the director's chair and we're expected to see Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, and Paul Rudd again. We also know that the setting will be Manhattan, New York. One of the locations will certainly be the famous fire station from the original films.
"Star Wars: Rogue Squadron" December 23, 2023
Director: Patty Jenkins
Back in 2020, we learned that Patty Jenkins will direct the film "Rogue Squadron" set in the Star Wars universe. In the middle of last year, Jenkins revealed that the script had been written, but later that year production was delayed and the film was moved from the schedule. In May of this year, as part of the Star Wars Celebration event, Disney put the film back on schedule with the originally envisioned premiere date, and whether it will actually be like that, in the end, remains to be seen.
With the previous two parts, and this last we have seen what we can expect from the next year. In this movie program, we are sure that there is something interesting for every eye. So, be patient and wait for your favorite one!
