Director Rachel Fleit also showed Selma undergoing stem cell treatment, which is promising for her condition, and yet has severe consequences for the body. Namely, Selma has bruises on her face, she is in pain and she does not hide her fears and the feeling of mortality, which she also speaks about openly, but she does not lose her optimism.

The actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, after which she appeared in public for the first time at the 2019 Oscars.

Selma arrived on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair Oscar party, which was held after the award ceremony in Los Angeles. This was quite emotional for her, but where she was one of the main stars.

It took me a long time to show up here,” Selma said bursting into tears, and the assembled crowd gave her loud support and greeted her with a standing ovation. After wiping away the tears, Selma bravely continued her walk using the cane she uses regularly to make it easier to move.

Selma's diagnosis did not stop her from continuing her acting career. She made the series "Another Life" and several film titles.
