Kathryn Prescott hospitalized after a truck hit her while crossing the street
British actress Kathryn Prescott was seriously injured after she was hit by a cement truck at a crosswalk in New York
Kathryn Prescott was crossing the street at a crossing in New York when she was hit by a truck transporting cement. The star of the popular series "Skins" was rushed to the hospital after the accident, with a broken pelvis, foot, hand, and both legs.
Her twin sister, Megan Prescott, also confirmed this tragic news by a post on her Twitter profile.
"After fighting through complex surgery some of Kathryn’s injuries include broken pelvis in two places, both of her legs, her foot, and her left hand,” she continued. “She is incredibly lucky to be alive. She narrowly avoided paralysis. The doctors are hopeful that she will make a full recovery but this will only be possible with the correct care right now.," she wrote.
Megan added that her sister is alone in the United States and that she cannot visit her because of the coronavirus pandemic. She also sent a request to the American embassy, but they rejected it at first. Fortunately, earlier today, Megan excitedly announced on her Instagram profile that permission has been granted for her to visit her sister in the US.
Yesterday I was approved to travel to see Kat
I will be able to be with Kathryn tomorrow but please take a minute to think about what’s happening to so many others right now who don’t have the luxury of so much support and who can’t get to their families

Kathryn will definitely have to learn to walk again, and her family and fans hope that it will be soon.
