A court in California has ordered Ronald Carlson, the boyfriend of Hollywood actress Selma Blair, to be banned from approaching the movie star after he attacked her.

According to People, actress Selma Blair (49) filed a complaint on February 25 and asked for a restraining order for Ronald Carlson, with whom she had been dating for seven years, after he physically attacked her.

According to court documents, the actress was at home, where she was resting after returning from the therapy for the treatment of multiple sclerosis, with which she has been living for years. She felt weak, and when Selma told her boyfriend, he first verbally attacked her. He allegedly told her she was "useless" and added:

I don't deserve this, I can do much better than you.”

Selma further alleges in the indictment that Carlson got angry and then physically attacked and jumped on her body while she was lying on the sofa, and then strangled her and shook her head and shoulders aggressively.

In self-defense, she pushed her fingers into Carlson's eyes and mouth and screamed for the housekeeper to hear her, after which Carlson put his hand over her mouth and pushed her into the couch, as a result of which she could not breathe. The actress was unconscious for a short time, and she also felt he hit her in the head, after which she fell to the floor and blood came out of her nose.

The accused then left Selma's home, and she called the police, after which he was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was soon banned from approaching her for five days, and then he himself submitted a request to be banned from approaching the actress. Allegedly, there are also photos that testify to the injuries of the famous actress.

Recall, Actress Selma Blair discovered two years ago that she suffers from multiple sclerosis, and now she is in the risk group of people due to the coronavirus.

She pointed out that she distanced herself from everyone during the pandemic, and she has revealed that it was hard for her during the holidays.

Selma posted on her Instagram where she announced that she spent Christmas alone with her nine-year-old son Arthur and that she had not seen family and friends.
