Famous singer Britney Spears found herself in the middle of a scandal again. This time it’s about her way of caring for her pets, two small dogs.
According to the media, her dogs became seriously ill, and one almost died. The singer's housekeeper urgently took the dogs to the vet and did not want to return them.
- One of her dogs has serious digestive problems, and both dogs had to be fed a special type of food because of their poor health. The caretaker became concerned after she saw the dogs being given leftovers from lunch, which led to them getting seriously ill, especially the one who already had serious problems - a source told TMZ.
The housekeeper also claims that the dogs were dehydrated due to a lack of water which is not given to them regularly. The source also claims that a veterinarian was worried about their well-being, which led the housekeeper to take the dogs away from the singer.
The dogs did not return to the singer after going to the vet, so she suspected that her father, Jamie Spears, had something to do with their disappearance. She called the police and wanted to report the theft of the dogs, but changed her mind.
After TMZ published a story about neglecting dogs and found out where they were, Britney and the housekeeper got into a heated argument. During the quarrel, the housekeeper showed the singer photos of sick dogs she had on her mobile phone.
The media write that this infuriated the singer because she believed she was sending these photos to her father. She allegedly then grabbed her cell phone and injured the hand of the housekeeper who then reported her to the police.
Britney denies ever injuring the housekeeper and says she just took away her cell phone.
After two weeks, the dogs were reportedly returned to the singer, and the housekeeper was fired.
