While most of Eminem’s ‘hardcore’ fans already know this, many others don’t know that this legendary rapper left a hidden message in one of his biggest hits.
Marshall Bruce Mathers III is an American rapper and actor. He was born on October 17, 1972, in the city of St. Joseph, Missouri. In the world of music, he is better known as Eminem or "King of Hip Hop", as Rolling Stone magazine declared him.
He started his career in 1996. Since then, he has released 10 albums, sold 172 million of them worldwide, and became the second best-selling artist in the history of the music industry. He has won over fifteen Grammy Awards, both for his achievements and for his work on other people's albums and songs. He was a member of the group D12, has his own record label called Shady Records, and in his songs, he talks about his private life, the fight against addiction, and the state of society.
The famous Eminem is considered by many to be one of the best rappers of all time, and recently it turned out that he is even more skilled with word games than previously thought, writes the Mirror.
One of his fans noticed that there was a secret message in the song “My Name Is”, released on his first album “The Slim Shady LP” in 1999.
Namely, if you listen to the song backwards the verses “My name is, my name is, my name is” sound like “It’s Eminem, it’s Eminem, it’s Eminem, it’s Slim”.
Slim Shady is Eminem's alter ego known from his first big hit "The Real Slim Shady".
