Steve Burton: 'The child is not mine'
Actor Steve Burton has discovered that his wife is carrying someone else’s child.
Breakups and divorces are, unfortunately, normal things in Hollywood. But in this case, something unexpected happened. Just before his 52nd birthday, the interpreter of 'General Hospital' separated from Sheree Gustin.
Actor Steve Burton, best known for his role in the soap opera 'General Hospital', found out in the worst possible way that his pregnant wife cheated on him. He realized that the child she was carrying was not his. The actor, after learning about her scam, after three children together and 23 years of marriage, decided to share everything on Instagram.
'I want to clarify something. Sheree and I broke up. She recently announced that she is expecting her fourth child who is not mine. We will continue to raise our three beautiful children together,' Steve wrote in his post, asking for privacy.
Steve Burton and Sheree Gustin have been married since 1999 and together they got Makena (18), Jack (16) and Brooklyn (7), and she has not yet spoken out about these claims.
By the way, Steve has been starring in the soap opera ‘General Hospital’ since 1991 in which he played the character of Jason Morgan, until the end of 2021 when he was fired for refusing to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
'Unfortunately, I was fired because of my attitude towards vaccination. You know, it hurts. This is about personal freedom for me and I think that is why no one should lose their basic means of subsistence, ' the actor told foreign media at the time.
Sheree Burton, his wife, did not comment on the split. By the way, Steve seems to be really great dad, and he often shares photos with his kids on his social network accounts. He is really caring father and we do not know how will this affect his relations with the children. It remains to see how this situation will affect his family.
