The best colors for the rooms of our home
  • Living room, as a place of meeting and entertainment, relaxing blue and green tones, earthy shades such as brown and yellow, neutral colors, and white are most suitable. Green leads this list because it is a color that symbolizes harmony and renewal. If you are not ready to paint the walls green, plants and their greenery are an excellent alternative. You can add the shades of wood to that because the combination of these two colors is proven to be beneficial for the human mood. This list also includes the perhaps not so expected gray. We mostly associate it with gloomy days and a bad mood, but it can actually make your living room more spacious. Also, it is not negligible how much gray can look elegant, but also artistic. The already mentioned blue is a reflection of peace and stability, and this is the energy that every family strives for, which is why this color is considered a good choice. The color that is not, at least not in the case of the living room, is red. According to experts, its energy does not have a good effect on the energy of the family, so it should not prevail as the color of the furniture, nor should it be used to paint the walls.

  • Unlike the living room, red is preferred in the dining room, just like orange and yellow. Namely, it is believed that these colors promote appetite, which is why they can often be seen in restaurants. This is the reason why we see these colors on the logos of famous fast food brands. Pink tones are also desirable in the dining room. The same colors are also recommended in the kitchen. Interestingly, another current of experts on this topic claims that the mentioned colors should not dominate the dining room because they lead to obesity.

  • The kitchen is the heart of the home because it brings us together and literally feeds us with vital energy. How healthy we are will depend on how we eat, that is, how we see ourselves and how much we value ourselves. White, as a symbol of purity, light, and goodness, but in a way also striving for perfection, is an ideal choice for the kitchen. In addition to white, you won't go wrong with earthy shades, but also with blue.

  • In the bedroom we rest and regenerate, which is why the arrangement of this room is extremely important. In addition to gentle, neutral tones that are always considered a good choice, experts often advise yellow as an option for the color of details. Namely, it is a color that symbolizes happiness, and it is especially effective in rooms with a lack of natural lighting because it is associated with sunlight. However, if it is present to a large extent, yellow can cause anxiety and stress, which is why it is advised to dose it and introduce it through details. Cushions or a bedspread in a yellow shade can be an excellent choice. The next color on this list is blue. Numerous studies confirm that blue is calming, which is why it is at the top of the list of colors that should dominate the bedroom. This especially applies to light tones that are also recommended for walls. However, you should be careful with shades of blue because darker ones can encourage feelings of sadness. Pastel colors like my lavender, beige or pink are also good options for the bedroom.

  • Today, for many, the bathroom has become a kind of temple where small daily rituals are performed in honor of health, hygiene, and relaxation. As we rarely have the opportunity to be alone, the role of the bathroom in maintaining mental health and stability is gaining more and more importance. We can emphasize the water element using gray and black, which encourage meditation, thinking, concentration and peace. There is also no mistake with white, but neither with pink.

  • Beige tones are also ideal for the facade of the house, which represents the suit of our home. Namely, all shades of earth elements, from cream, beige, champagne, and slightly yellow to light brown, are ideal shades for the facade of the house because they guarantee stability, solidity, and safety.
