Lady Wiseldown has new plans. New heroes of the "Bridgerton" series are revealed, as well as details of the 3rd season.
The third season of the series 'Bridgerton ' will be on Netflix in 2023, and every detail that leaked to the public is welcomed by fans. It was recently announced which old characters will return to London's elite, but also which new ones are arriving to make the lives of old ones more complicated. As it was previously rumored, the new series will focus on Penelope and Colin and they will be based on the book 'Romancing Mr. Bridgerton' (otherwise the fourth in the series) by Julia Quinn.
Penelope was lusting after this man since episode one, so it will be a relief to see her patience (and ours) pay off. How and when Colin will realize that 'the real one' was right in front of his eyes all along remains to be seen. The season will begin with a hurt Penelope definitely giving up on Colin, determined to find a husband who will respect her and with whom she can continue to be Lady Whistledown. Colin, disappointed that his old friend is ignoring him, decides to help her boost her confidence and find 'Mr. Perfect'.

Since the focus is on the youngest Miss Federington, we will also see Eloise again, and her quarrel with Penelope, which culminated in the finale of season 2.
As for the second season, its main characters, Kat and Anthony, plan to continue their story. Jonathan Bailey (Anthony) said that he plans to appear in all eight seasons and walk each of the Bridgerton children down the aisle, while Simone Ashley is excited to see how her Kat fares as the Viscountess.
Daphne is also returning, but one sister will be 'replaced'.There will be Hannah Dodd, who replaces Ruby Stokes. Actor Daniel Francis will take on the role of Marcus Anderson, a charismatic gentleman who lights up every room he walks into. Sam Phillips will play Lord Debling, a lord with eccentric interests (and enough wealth to turn a blind eye to them). James Funn will appear as Harry Dankworth, a young man who isn't smart but makes up for it with seriously good looks. The fact that Benedict Bridgerton 's story is "skipped" in the sequence does not mean that many people's favorite brother will be neglected. Jess Brownell said that Benedict will still be "an essential part of the third season", even though the show is not yet getting to his love story. We can only hope but hopes have already been dashed when it comes to Reggae Gene Page's return. Although it was previously rumored that Simon Bassett would return to the series, it seems that the actor really said goodbye to this hero.
