The remaining members of Nirvana have recorded new songs!
The remaining members of the band Nirvana, Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl, and Pat Smear have recorded several new songs, but as they say, they will most likely never release them.
In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Dave said that he often plays with Krist and Pat and that he sometimes records some songs.
"Krist Novoselic is a pilot, he flies his plane… he lives in the northwest of the Pacific Ocean and whenever he lands in Los Angeles, we always like to see each other and grab a bite to eat. The last time he was here, I prepared dinner for us and we hung out. Pat is always nearby and the three of us enjoy each other's company. And if the instruments are nearby or the studio is available, we don't need much incentive to start jamming"- he said.
That was not the end of his story. He also said what was going on in the studio.
"We don't just play Nirvana songs, but we like to hear them. And sometimes, as we play, we come up with some new ones. And if we're in the studio, we'll record them. So we recorded some things that are really great. But we've never done anything with it, it's more like friends, who are goofing around, it doesn't really look like any big official gathering" - he explained, to the great regret of all Nirvana fans who would die for new content.
The remaining members of Nirvana have gathered several times, and perhaps the most significant is the one when Nirvana entered the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame a few years ago, where they also performed with various singers.
