Terry Hatcher and James Denton were a favorite TV couple for many, and now they are together again: 'The bedroom is different this time'
"It was a great opportunity to meet again," the Hollywood actress revealed
Hollywood actress Teri Hatcher spoke about a possible re-collaboration with colleague James Denton, with whom she starred in the popular series "Desperate Housewives," who offered her a role in the film "A Kiss Before Christmas."
Teri, 56, embodied housewife Susan Mayer, and James Denton played her partner Mike Delfino.
"James is the producer on this film. It all started when he called me one day and said, 'I'm a producer on the film. You probably don't want to work on the film, but can you please at least think about it?' I replied, "Are you kidding? Well, that sounds like a great opportunity for us to work together again," the actress said, according to the Daily Mail.
She also revealed that the best thing was that they didn’t have to rehearse anything special because they still had that ‘professional chemistry’ that was also present in the popular series, which they filmed between 2004 and 2012.
"We played a married couple who were married for a long time, who had teenage children and it was completely normal for us. We didn't have to rehearse anything special for the film because we have a common history and it was great. And since they killed Mike in ‘Desperate housewives’, this was the only way to meet again, ”the actress joked.
Denton admitted that because of his collaboration on the film, he felt like Mike Delfino again.
"I hope my character in the film will be more interesting to viewers, but I felt like Mike again. It was weird for me to struggle with those two characters in me," the actor revealed, adding that 'the bedroom scene in Hallmark's film is different from the bedroom scenes from Desperate Housewives.
There is no doubt that the film will be a real treat for fans of the popular series, and it arrives at Hallmark on November 21st.
