The untouched beauty of Kalanggaman Island
Kalanggaman island is located just off the coast of Palampona, in the east of the Philippine island of Leyte.
The peace, white sand, and turquoise sea that calls us from the postcards can often disappoint us when we finally get to the destination from the photo. Worse is when we realize that we have to share that place with a bunch of other people that made the same mistake as we did. However, there are still places that have not been overrun by mass tourism, and Kalanggaman is one of them. Kalanggaman is located just off the coast of Palampona, in the east of the Philippine island of Leyte.
Not only is Kalanggaman Island incredibly beautiful, but it is also incredibly untouched. Instead of expensive hotels and resorts, you can find accommodation with countless stars in Kalanggaman in a tent, and there are no "famous" restaurants or bars. There is ample space for barbecues or picnics, and local fishermen will take care of a fresh bite. You will surely enjoy it.
