It is well known that Camilla and Charles have been in a secret relationship since the seventies, as well as that the prince cheated on his wife Diana with Parker. The late princess refused to wear Chanel throughout their marriage, which continued after the divorce in 1996. As the designer Jason Brandson, who was once Lady Diana's stylist, pointed out, the famous logo of this fashion house reminded the princess of the relationship between her husband and Camilla, whose initial letter of the name is also C, like Chanel.

During Diana's visit to Australia, Brandson suggested Chanel shoes with Versace clothes, and she told him: “No, I can't wear the bound letters C.
