The greatest American football player in history, seven-time Super Bowl winner and legendary 'quarterback' Tom Brady decided to try his hand as a producer and actor in Hollywood. It will be his first project since announcing the end of his playing career in late January.
According to the sources, Brady is producing a road trip film called '80 for Brady' in which he will appear. By the way, the film follows the adventures of four New England Patriots' best friends and fans who travel to Houston in 2017 for the Super Bowl to see their sports hero Brady, without even imagining how much that trip will change their lives.
Brady’s fans in the film are Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, Sally Field, and Lily Tomlin, the first three of whom have won top film awards.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that the film was inspired by a true story, and was created on the template of Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins, who wrote the screenplay for the film Booksmart.
'80 for Brady' is shot by Paramount Pictures and Endeavor Content, and is directed by Kyle Marvin, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Covin. On the other hand, Brady's company 199 Productions produces the film. Filming is expected to begin in the spring, and the American portal writes that the famous actor has been involved in the project from the very beginning, but it is not yet known what kind of acting role he is intended for.
However, this will not be Brady's first time on camera, as he has previously guest-starred in the comedy 'Ted 2 and the Entourage' series, and lent his voice to his own character in The Simpsons.
