Victoria and David Beckham Celebrate 23rd Anniversary
More than two decades ago, the most popular couple of the moment said the fateful "yes", and the ceremony they organized was so romantic and luxurious that it is not easy to beat.
Fashion designer Victoria and former football player David Beckham celebrated 23 years of marriage yesterday, and both publicly congratulated each other on their anniversary.
“They say he's not funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn't last” — Victoria wrote on her Instagram profile — “Today we celebrate 23 years of marriage. David, you are my everything, I love you so much.”
The athlete, on the other hand, shared a clip from "The Ali G Show", in which his wife and he were guests at the beginning of their love. Sacha Baron Cohen asked David if he had previously been a fan of the group "Spice Girls", of which Victoria was a part, to which he replied that he was not, but he was a fan of hers.
“23 years ago, Posh became Mrs. Beckham, but she will always be Posh. Happy anniversary, wow, 23 years and four beautiful children. I love you, we love you” - he said in the description of the video.
Beckham also shared some old photos of him and his wife in matching and somewhat comical outfits. David and Victoria became spouses on July 4, 1999, and the media eagerly followed every detail related to the lavish wedding. Of course, from a woman who is known as ‘Posh’, nothing less would be expected than that every detail goes with unsurpassed luxury! The couple said "I do" at Luttrellstown Castle, near Dublin, and the ceremony, despite all the glamour, was very intimate: only 29 of their closest family and friends attended.

As for the decorations, it was all rose petals and silver birch branches, and after the ceremony was over, a dove was released, while a banner reading VBD — as in Victoria, Brooklyn, and David — was raised above the castle.
After the formal part, a celebration was held where the Beckhams hosted 230 guests, including many world stars.
When it comes to style, Victoria's wedding dress to this day is one of the most beautiful we've seen in the celebrity world. She opted for a classic model reminiscent of the dresses of princesses from fairy tales. She chose the model of the queen of wedding fashion, Vera Wang.
