There have been rumors for a long time about an argument and a bad relationship between Kate and her sister-in-law Meghan, and it all started at the former actress’ wedding to Prince Harry in May 2018. But, according to British media reports, Kate is already tired of claims that she made Meghan cry during an argument over little bridesmaids' dresses, which she talked about in an interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward, therefore, claims that Kate will be cordial and in a good mood towards Meghan in public during their first meeting.
"She will surely be photographed hugging and kissing because Kate knows there is no point in continuing an argument. She has to, it's part of her job. Her feelings have to stay that way," she told the Daily Mail.
The infamous quarrel between Kate and Meghan first came to light and came out in 2018, when it was said that the Duchess of Cambridge was crying over the dress her daughter, Princess Charlotte, was supposed to wear.
"Kate has just given birth to Prince Louis and she felt quite emotional," an anonymous source told the Daily Mail at the time.
But three years later, Meghan retaliated with allegations she made to Oprah, claiming she was crying, not Kate.
"No, no. The opposite happened. And I'm not saying that to belittle anyone because it was a really hard week before the wedding. And she was upset about something, but she realized it and apologized. She brought me flowers and a message. And she did what I would have done if I had known I had hurt someone, just to take responsibility for it," Meghan concluded during the interview.
