Why did Sophie reject Kendall's invitation?

This year's Met Gala is behind us, and the biggest Hollywood cream once again used a big fashion event to socialize and pose in front of a hundred photographers.

Much has been written about the appearance of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters who arrived on the red carpet for the first time in full force. They organized an after-party to which they invited their famous friends, including actress Sophie Turner.

However, the 26-year-old star of the 'Game of Thrones' series did not accept the invitation, and now she has revealed the reason behind it. She was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show’ where she admitted she was not indifferent to Kendall’s appearance.

‘So Kendall Jenner was at the Met Gala. I adore the Kardashians, but I think she is so beautiful in live and her beauty amazed me. She invited me to a party. 'Do you want to come?' She asked me. And I just said, 'No, I don't want to.' I wondered why I did it to myself. Later, I just sat on the bed, ate pasta and said to myself, 'Now I could be somewhere else,'' the actress admitted.

She explained that her behavior was due to the already usual strange behavior when she is among other celebrities. 'I behave stupidly or I say something stupid with all the celebrities I come in contact with. Lately, I've been silencing them right away and I'm thinking: I don't want to have anything to do with you, and I secretly, in fact, love you, ' she admitted.

In an interview, she also revealed that after one of her first encounters with her current husband, musician Joe Jonas, she cried after he left her apartment. 'I remember he left, I don't know if it was because of the alcohol, but I started crying to my brother telling him I loved Joe,' she said.

By the way, Joe and she are currently expecting their second child. They got married in Las Vegas in May 2019 and later that year they had a big wedding in France. They had a daughter in July 2020, and they named her Will.
