3 beauty tips that many celebs follow

Lisa Eldridge is the make-up artist behind some of the cult looks of Dua Lipa, Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and many other celebrities. Former creative director of the Lancôme brand, today is a cosmetic innovator who pushes the boundaries of makeup with her brand and a collector who researches the history of beauty - her book 'Face Paint' became a bestseller and recently made the documentary series 'Make Up: A Glamorous History'. Her celebrity clients at events and shootings always look flawless, and very simple tricks that never let you down can help:

COLD MASSAGE

‘I tell my friends and clients to keep a supply of masks and eye cream and massage tools in the fridge. A swollen face is best massaged with something cold, and as a bonus, with this trick makeup looks best. My tired clients always thank me when I manage to transform their face in a few minutes', revealed Lisa.

CONCEALER

A good concealer is underrated - it’s my secret weapon for a smooth, flawless complexion and isn’t just for pimples or dark circles (although it will, of course, cover them perfectly). If you have hyperpigmentation, redness, or uneven complexion, do not overdo it with powder - concealer is all you need. Light layers and good blending with the skin is crucial because it gives the illusion that you are wearing a minimum of products as if you have retouched your face. '

LIGHTING

It should not be forgotten that no matter how good your make-up is, the most important thing is lighting. The first thing I do when I work with clients on set is to check the lighting so I know exactly how to do makeup. But I also knew how to ask the team to change the lighting if they lit up the background well, but they forgot about the model! ', recalls Lisa Eldridge.

It’s important to remember that make-up exists for our benefit - to cover up acne and boost self-confidence or to help us prepare for a big meeting or event through an editing ritual. It should be FUN, not pressure. It should never be something stressful or something that goes without saying. '
