Why Ronaldo won't reveal the mother of his kids
In Portugal, the big topic for years was that Ronaldo got his first son Cristiano Junior (11), and twins Eva and Mateo (4) by artificial insemination.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez were expecting twins, but unfortunately only one child - a girl - saw the world, while the other twin passed away, about which the footballer informed the public. This is Ronaldo's fifth child, while he got the previous four in different ways. Georgina also gave birth to Ronaldo's fourth child - Alana Martina (4), while the football player received the previous three from a surrogate mother whose identities she never wanted to reveal to the public.
In Portugal, the big topic for years was that Ronaldo got his first son Cristiano Junior (11), and twins Eva and Mateo (4) by artificial insemination. It all started when Ronaldo, at the age of 26, only suddenly announced that he had become a father, explaining that all parental rights had been transferred to him and that Christian Jr.'s mother would have no contact with him.
It is not known whether this was an affair for one night or if he was born to a surrogate mother, and Ronaldo once revealed that his son still does not know who his mother is. "People assume I was with this girl or someone else, or there was a surrogate mother. I've never told anyone and I'll never do it. When Cristiano grows up, I'll tell him the truth, because he deserves it because he's my son, but I won't say it because people want me to say it”, Ronaldo once said on Jonathan Ross's show.
The children were allegedly conceived in a laboratory in Los Angeles, and part of the documents became available to the public. The mother's name is not visible, because such data is strictly kept, and the children were born one minute apart. That information was important because many speculated that Eva and Mateo were not actually twins, but this fact dispelled at least those doubts.
Stephanie Caballero, a leading American lawyer in the field of surrogate parenting, said that Ronaldo was certainly the father of those children, assuming that they came from the "embryo series", explaining along the way why all this was done in California. Namely, this American state is a "paradise" for surrogate parenting, while in Portugal it is strictly forbidden by law, especially since Ronaldo is not married. "No Portuguese court would recognize any agreement between Cristiano and the surrogate mother, so such an agreement would be declared invalid," said Caballero.
