The Matrix Resurrections Independent portal concluded that Reeves is the most underestimated actor of his generation, and he is also called the saddest man in the world. Behind the actor is a difficult life that abounded in numerous tragedies.
The actor had a difficult life since early childhood. His father was a heroin addict who left the family when Keanu was three years old. After that, his mother remarried three times. He suffered from dyslexia and never graduated.
Another major tragedy struck him when his best friend River Phoenix died of an overdose in 1993. The actor never came to terms with his death.
"River was an exceptional man and actor. We got along great and I miss him very much. I often think of him," he once said.
He lost his child first, and then his ex-partner
Five years later, another tragedy will happen to him. His then-girlfriend, actress Jennifer Syme, was eight months pregnant when she lost her child. After that, the couple broke up.A year and a half later, she died in a car accident returning from Marilyn Manson's party, and Keanu was completely devastated after her death.
