Xbox boss: "Don't use games as weapons"

Phil Spencer, the Xbox division's president, has made a plea to the players. The community may not utilize developer games as weapons in console conflicts.

The CEO of Microsoft has made a number of requests to fans. This is a means for fans to show their appreciation for video game creators and to celebrate impending releases, regardless of platform.

The DICE video game conference was held in Las Vegas a few days ago. Phil Spencer was honored for his life's work there. As part of this, Spencer was interviewed by IGN, where he discussed his biggest achievements as well as his ambitions for the business in the following decade.

When asked about a message for fans, he stated that he wants players to respect the developers rather than using their video games as weapons in a struggle between platforms and other things.

"I look to anyone who is brave enough to build something and distribute it for their peers, the industry, and gamers to experience, analyze, and discuss," Spencer concluded. "Let's just celebrate the fact that so many excellent games are coming out from so many studios while realizing that this is the basis for where the industry is going," he says.

He previously addressed the toxicity inside the gaming business in his acceptance speech for his lifetime achievement award, saying that the industry also has a responsibility to millions of gamers. Both gamers and developers must work together to make the industry a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Steam Deck: Delivery of the first devices has started

On February 25, 2022, the device was formally unveiled. Early adopters had 72 hours from that date to complete their pre-order Steam deck purchases. If the order was not completed within 72 hours, the console was given to a person on the waiting list.

The first Steam Deck pre-orderers are already confirming on social media that they have gotten a shipment confirmation. The item is being prepped for shipment, according to the e-mail. Furthermore, the package tracking code is already provided. So it shouldn't be long until buyers can have their Steam Decks in their hands.

The delivery confirmation message is also being published on Reddit right now. Some consumers have complained that they have yet to receive their confirmation.

Furthermore, many players are anxious that they will miss the 72-hour deadline for ordering the Steam Deck. However, one of the users can give the thumbs-up: Players who have the Steam app installed on their smartphone will be notified of their order via the program. The email will also be sent to the same address as Steam's sales notifications. You will be notified of your time slot if you receive these messages.

Steam has released a new tool. This should allow gamers to check the compatibility of their Steam library with the Steam Deck. Steam has created a website where players may log in using their Steam account. There, you can quickly discover which games have been marked as playable or verified for the Steam Deck.
