Billie Eilish brutally talks about abortion in the middle of a state that bans it: I wanted to punish this place!
She was thinking about canceling her performance due to the recently passed Texas law, but she still performed because of her fans
Billie Eilish performed in Texas at the Austin City Limits Festival.
During the performance, the singer referred to their law and used this opportunity to support women's rights to abortion.
In Texas, abortion is prohibited by law after the fetus is diagnosed with cardiac activity, which usually takes about six weeks before most women know they are pregnant. There are no exceptions.
- I'm sick of old men. Shut up, it's about our f***ing bodies - said Billy.
She was thinking about canceling her performance due to the recently passed Texas law, but she still performed because of her fans.
- When they made that shit a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show. Because I wanted to punish this fu**ing place for allowing that to happen here. But then I remembered it’s you guys who are the fu**ing victims and you guys deserve everything in the world. And we need to tell them to shut the f**k up! - said the singer, who then raised her middle finger.

- My body, my fu**ing choice! cried Eilish.
Behind her on the stage was an inscription that reads "Prohibitions of our bodies", the motto of the national campaign that advocates for safe access to reproductive health care.
