Bridget Jones in hilarious new adventures
Although Renee Zellweger has not yet confirmed anything, it is speculated that she will be joined by Colin Firth
Judging by the writings of the British media, it seems that the fourth installment of the film about Bridget Jones is coming. Warning! The text may contain spoilers! Producers have secretly started work on the project, and filming should begin at the end of this year, an insider revealed to the British ‘The Sun’.
"The producers always knew there was a huge demand for a new sequel, and now seems to be the right time," the British tabloid quoted a well-informed source.
Actress Renee Zellweger will once again become Britain's most lovable fat woman, but this time we will see her in the role of a mother. Let's recall, in the third sequel "Bridget Jones’ baby” from 2016, the pregnant heroine was trying to find out who the father of the child is. The new sequel will see Bridget grapple with the challenges of motherhood with her son, who is fathered by Mark Darcy, as revealed in that installment of the franchise.
Although Zellweger hasn't confirmed anything yet, it is speculated that Colin Firth and possibly Hugh Grant will join her in this film. There is no information about the premiere either, but it is assumed that it will not be before next year or 2024.

Bridget Jones's Diary is a comedy from 2001 directed by Sharon Maguire, and viewers remember it mostly for the blonde actress who quickly won the hearts of viewers because she was the opposite of the ideal heroine from the typical Hollywood romantic movies of the time.
American two-time Oscar winner Renée Zellweger has admitted she desperately wants to reprise her role as a British blonde solo girl while promoting her new show ‘The Thing About Pam’. She revealed to viewers how much she adores the role of the popular Bridget Jones, and when asked if there was a possibility of a continuation of the popular comedy, she did not think long about the answer.
"I hope so. I hope so. It's really fun to play her character, I just love being in her shoes," the actress said, revealing that she "enjoyed it while filming on set."
