George RR Martin: 'I don't trust them.'
As fans eagerly await the release of the "House of the Dragon" series, George RR Mateen has spoken openly about the hatred of fans, who are still disappointed by the "Game of Thrones" series finale.
Although the last season of 'Game of Thrones' aired almost three years ago, fans are still outraged by the disappointing finale and they even created a petition for a remake of the eighth season, which was signed by 1.8 million people.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, George RR Martin addressed the brutal comments from fans: 'It's the toxic internet and these podcasts saying how the eighth season left such a bad impression that people are saying they'll never watch the show again... I don't believe them anymore.'This is not the first comment from the creator of the series. He similarly stated in May: 'I don't understand how people can hate something they loved so much. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. When did everything become so toxic?' Despite everything, fans are excited for the release of "House of the Dragon" which may be able to reconcile Martin and the fans.

"House of the Dragon" will investigate the beginning of the downfall and the events that led to the civil war between Targaryen. The Series that will follow the events before the “Game of Thrones” era on the HBO Max streaming service is broadcasted from August 21 this year! One of the biggest exclusives of this service, caused huge attention from the audience and fans of the “Game of Thrones”, so somehow we all expect a lot from it. The “House of the Dragon” is based on a book by George RR Martin “Fire and Blood” and follows developments and events related to the Targaryen family.
The first episode was announced with a picture of an egg, a dragon of course, which burst and clearly lets us know that through this series we will enjoy the winged monsters, who stole the show so many times in “Game of Thrones”. Of course, this time we expect many more stories about dragons, which are the tradition of Targaryen.
The content of the series will be around 200 years before the “Game of Thrones” series and the premiere is scheduled just two weeks before the broadcast of a competing big project on Amazon Prime, which we are also looking forward to – “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”, which debuts on September 2.
