Hollywood actress Renée Zellweger is celebrating her 53rd birthday today. The double Oscar winner, whose career is still on the rise today, won the hearts of millions of viewers in the romantic comedy 'Bridget Jones's diary'.
Recently, in one interview she also talked about an unexpected love story that began for her in the fifties with British television presenter and car lover Ante Anstead, who is ten years younger than her. They have been together for a year, and the actress seems never happier.
‘Love in my fifties was the most beautiful gift I could imagine. It came unexpectedly, at a time when I wasn’t even looking for love anymore, and it was brought to me by my late friend Nanci Ryder, a public relations agent. I can't believe what a mix of unbelievable circumstances it took to make that happen, ' Zellweger said.
‘Nancy passed away in the summer of 2020 from the effects of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the age of 68, and to pay tribute to her caregivers I accepted an invitation to a British car show on the condition that they come with me. And that was it, ' she said.
When it comes to the greater age difference, she found that she is especially visible in the fact that the actress does not turn on her cell phone until she has done all other daily chores, so she is sometimes available late at night, which often drives her new boyfriend crazy. Just before he met his new love, Ant Anstead divorced his wife Christine Haack with whom he has a two-year-old son, Hudson.

Renee first lost weight for her role in the 2019 film ‘Judy’ in which she played a drug-addicted actress and singer, and won her an Oscar for Best Leading Role. After filming was over she reportedly decided to stay on that diet and keep a slim figure.
