British media claim: "The Queen is sad"
The court battle is intensifying day by day, and sources close to the palace claim that if he is found guilty, Prince Andrew will be left without all titles.
Judging by the British media, the new year has not started well for the royal family. Namely, the front pages of the press on the island are again full of news about the affair of Prince Andrew (61), who is currently in court on charges of raping 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre. The court battle is intensifying day by day, and sources close to the palace claim that if he is found guilty, the prince will be left without all the titles. The queen reportedly believes that such a move, on their part, would be the right punishment.
Recall, the prince denied all allegations of rape, but his credibility was not helped by the fact that Virginia in the lawsuit she filed stated that Andrew sexually abused her in the home of the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in Manhattan, but also in another location. In the shocking accusation, Virginia states that she was actually sold to the prince, but for years she did not dare to talk about that traumatic experience. She was silent for decades, but she turned to lawyers and police after Epstein's death.
Queen Elizabeth II according to foreign media reports, is paying millions to a team of lawyers that includes lawyers Melissa Lerner and Andrew Brettler, who are believed to charge around two thousand dollars an hour – all to prove the innocence of the prince who was acquitted of the royal duties.
Only Jeffrey Epstein obviously knows the real truth, but he took it to the grave because in 2019 he committed suicide in prison and thus avoided trial for his crimes.
Although two decades have passed since then, Virginia Giuffre, today the wife and mother of three children living in Australia, has not yet recovered from the psychological and emotional trauma. She asks Andrew for monetary compensation for the suffering she endured, in the amount determined by the court, and to cover all court costs.
Due to everything that is happening in the family of Prince Andrew, there is great nervousness, and the queen is, according to insiders, angry, but also deeply sad and disappointed. Although no one confirmed it is known that she gave the title of Duke of York to her favorite son because it was worn by her father George VI before he became king. Allegedly, Prince William, 39, is particularly angry, saying that he believes that he will stay without royal duties regardless of the outcome of the entire trial. Prince Andrew should never return to the public life of the monarchy. He believes the scandal itself has done enough harm to the entire family.
The Duke of York is still hiding in Scotland on the estate of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II , in order to avoid attempts at getting served the legal documents on sexual abuse for which he is accused.
The Duchess of Sussex, American actress Meghan Markle could be called to testify as part of a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew filed by Virginia prosecutor Roberts Giuffre in connection with the dark case of sexual exploitation of minors Epstein.
